WHAT KIND OF ANIMALS WILL WE SEE?

There are all sorts of avians, reptiles, insects and mammals in the swamp. They all can be more active at different hours depending on the conditions, weather and season. Your boat captain will put you on the best tour possible to see as much as possible.

WHEN DO THE BOATS RUN?

Boats leave the dock at 9:45AM, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm (if there is enough daylight for the 6pm tour). It is important that you be there 30 minutes before so you have plenty of time to check-in.

DO YOU HAVE A COVERED BOAT?

Yes! We have boats other than airboats that you can enjoy the swamp in. We have covered boats that are not loud and provide shade from the sun.

WHAT KIND OF SWAMP TOURS DO YOU OFFER?

We have small Airboats that seat 6-8 people. Larger Airboat seating 10 or 16 people and Covered Tour Boats

WHAT IS A RIDE IN A COVERED BOAT LIKE?

A covered boat is a larger boat with an awning that seats more people. It is not loud, unlike an airboat, and moves slower through the swamp. Great for photography!

IS THERE HOTEL PICKUP?

Yes, we offer hotel pickup! Please be ready on time when waiting for your shuttle.

WHEN IS ULTIMATE SWAMP ADVENTURES OPEN?

We are open from 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS FOR THE SWAMP?

You should always dress comfortably. If it is cooler outside, it is good to wear warmer clothes, especially on an airboat.

ARE THERE MOSQUITOES IN THE SWAMP?

Yes, but they rarely come out during the day. Please leave the spray at home.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

Weather calls are up to the boat captain, who is the subject matter expert. Typically, storms blow over fairly quickly and you can still get on the water and enjoy your swamp tour. However, severe weather can abbreviate or cancel tours.

Is Alcohol Allowed?

Of course, It’s Louisiana! Let the good times roll! Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly tour.

ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS TO BEING ON THE AIRBOAT?

Yes, you have to be at least 48 inches tall to ride the airboat. Expected mothers will need to take the swamp boat tour.

This tour is great for a relaxing cruise through the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. The beautiful wildlife is all around you. Our swamp boats are covered and provide plenty of shade.

We have small private airboats for those wanting a wild ride through Louisianas' alligator country. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall. You can book the whole boat or one seat.

We also have large airboat tours for groups up to 24 passengers. You can also reserve single seats. Tour is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes - 2 hours long and passengers must be at least 48 inches tall to ride.
